100 days of rain

2015.

Rain and the moist coastal climate in Western Norway form the basis of these photographs. It is present as a major topic of conversation, a strong force of nature whose impact is certainly reinforced by climate change, and historically, as a basis for survival, trade and folklore. Having spent my life so far in this climate, I think I somehow have come to love shitty weather, and feel a certain unease in places where I can't see the sea. Maybe I'm turning amphibian.
